In order to facilitate a comfortable and pleasant stay for all our guests and for the smooth operation of the bed and breakfast resort, all guests must read and accept our policies and house rules before checking in.
Check-In / check-out | Check-in time is 3 – 10 PM. Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance. |
Payment for the entire booking must be made in full before or during check-in. | |
Please sign the guest register and provide a valid ID (no photocopies) for all adult guests. Children’s names and ages must also be registered. The tourist police/coastal police have the right to request this information at any time. | |
Check-out time is 11 AM. Please speak to the manager for storage of luggage. | |
Occupancy | All our 5 guest rooms are for maximum 2 adults each. |
Our 2 Superior suite rooms can additionally accommodate 2 children upto 14 years old on a sofa-bed or cots. We do not provide any other extra beds, cots or mattresses. | |
Unregistered (non-paying) guests are not allowed anywhere inside the premises. | |
Pets are not permitted on the premises. | |
Eating & Drinking | Breakfast will be served in the dining area from 8 AM – 10:30 AM. We can make alternate arrangements for breakfast on request. |
Please inform us in advance of any allergies or dietary requirements or restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate them. | |
Fresh RO filtered water in a sustainable glass bottle will be provided upon arrival and refilled as needed. | |
Our common rooms – the living rooms and dining room – are available for your use throughout the day between 7 AM and 10 PM. | |
Kitchen Use | The kitchen is strictly a private area and off limits to all guests due to health and safety regulations. Only staff are allowed to enter the kitchen and storerooms. Please ask the staff if you require anything from the kitchen. |
A refrigerator is provided in each room for your convenience. | |
Noise & Parties | We request all guests to respect our quiet time especially during sleeping hours from 10 pm – 7 am |
Please be considerate by avoiding excessive noise levels during the day. | |
Parties, functions and events are not allowed at Villa Malpe. | |
Electricity and internet | Both electricity and internet are unfortunately erratic at times. We are not responsible for any breaks in theses services. A generator provides electricity when the municipal supply is cut. |
WiFi is available for guests. Please ask the manager for the WiFi code. | |
Safety and comfort | Please do not use any flammable items such as candles, agarbattis, incense or cooking apparatus inside the premises. |
Please familiarise yourself with the position of our fire extinguishers. | |
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the premises. We will add a surcharge equal to 1 nights rent for any breach of this rule. An ashtray is provided if you wish to smoke outdoors on the veranda/balcony. | |
Please do not put anything except toilet paper in the toilets as it clogs the pipes. Please use the rubbish bins provided for all other rubbish. | |
Please keep doors and windows shut to avoid animals, birds and insects from entering the premises. | |
The beach | Our staff will be happy to provide you with beach towels when you go swimming. Do not take the towels in your bathroom to the seaside. |
Please be careful when swimming in the sea as the waves and undercurrents can be very strong on some days. Always accompany children into the sea. | |
Please wash your feet, sandals or slippers under the tap by the front door if you have been to the beach. | |
Damages / Losses | You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to Villa Malpe, fixtures or equipment. |
We cannot accept responsibility for your losses within the premises or in the car park. | |
Right of admission | The management of Villa Malpe reserves the right to refuse admission to any person who does not accept and abide by our policies and house rules. We also reserve the right, at our discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. In such circumstances any outstanding account must be settled, no refunds will be made. |
